Commissioned to capture the atmosphere surrounding Australia’s premier international cycling race, this project focused on more than just the competition, it was about the relationship between the race, the crowds, and the South Australian landscape. The brief was to document the scale of the event while celebrating the communities and environments that line each stage.

Filmed across multiple race days, the final piece weaves together rider intensity, roadside energy, and sweeping regional backdrops, offering a cinematic snapshot of the Tour Down Under as both a world-class sporting event and a major cultural moment for the state.
